Today, as in France, so in
Greece, healthcare workers go on strike and struggle because the policy that
considers health as individual responsibility and health services as a commercial
product, has bankrupted. The pandemic has highlighted all of the above and
workers are fighting for measures to protect the health and safety of workers
in the workplace, state funding of the public health system by hiring full-time
permanent medical and nursing staff etc.
