National Federation of Unions of Workers in Public and Social Functions of Portugal: Solidarity with USB and workers in Italy

The National Federation of Unions of Workers in Public and Social Functions of Portugal, member TUI-SP- / WFTU, salutes the workers and the Italian people and for the deepening of the action and struggle, led by USB for the improvement of the conditions of the provision of public services health conditions that have worsened since the emergence of the Covid-19 Pandemic, which worsened the already deficient working conditions of health workers and the means to combat them.

 Facts that contributed decisively to an increase in deaths that could have been avoided. We sympathize with the struggle that is taking place today, March 11th, and which continues the action of the USB denouncing, among workers and populations, the inoperability of the Italian Government and the EU that manage the pandemic situation with policies that facilitate the profit of pharmaceutical / multinational capitalist corporations and not the effective resolution of the public health problem that is also experienced in Italy: 

- For the end of this farce;

 - Respecting the rights of health workers;

 - By the necessary means to guarantee public health, including access to a free vaccine for all.
