Yesterday,
October 3rd, together with the Ministry of Labor, the National
Federation of Trade Unions of Workers in Public and Social Functions
held a Public Tribune under the motto "Comply with the Constitution,
Defend Trade Union Freedom and the Right to Strike", integrated in the
International Action convened by the World Federation of Trade Unions
that celebrated on this day 78 years of existence that correspond to 78
years of internationalist struggle for the rights of peoples and workers
against the capitalism and neoliberalism and for peace.
In
this initiative, about twenty union structures of the CGTP-IN were
present and of these, 15 intervened, from the Central and Local Public
Administration and the Private Sector on the motto and very clearly
reaffirmed the need to react and resist in the face of the neoliberal
attacks with which the workers of Portugal and the whole world are
struggling.
They also greeted the anniversary of the WFTU.
You have to abide by the Constitution. Freedom of association is a constitutional right!
